What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Slightly tight? Bang around in them for a bit with multiple pairs of thick socks and that slight tightness should be gone. I did it with a pair of iron Rangers on the advice of my local cobbler and sure enough, it worked.

It's too warm outside to wear this in anger but I'm too excited not to share...

I thought it was time to get a G1 and after some excellent tutoring from @Brettafett I pulled the trigger on a decent Star D beater. Sadly it didn't quite fit (wanted some room for layers) so it's back on eBay. Then I remembered that @Skyhawk had listed a near mint Ralph Edwards C with exactly the size I needed. It arrived yesterday from Jay and I couldn't be more pleased (even though I don't look like it in the pictures)!

Picked up this used ELC A-1 a couple months back, but haven’t been able to give it wear due to the heat:

Looks great Jan! I've had my eye on a used ELC on another site for going on 6 months now...just waiting a the price to drop. I finally sent the seller a message today with an offer. I'm not getting my hopes up though. It's the perfect measurements for me, but I've never worn an A-1 and won't take a $900 chance on it.

If it’s been up there for 6 months you can pretty much make a reasonable offer and it will be yours

The A-1’s an awkward fit, IMHO: kinda square in the shoulders, tight across the back, but plenty of space across the front of the chest. It’s tight in the sleeves, but with a relaxed lower torso. It’s like the inverse of how JC describes the Cable A-2:
large wide shoulders, large arm holes, roomy arms, and a roomy body. It's not a baggy pattern, but looks smart.
It’s like Cable managed to square the circle between comfort and a sharp design, whereas this pattern attempts that, and winds up with the worst of both worlds. It could just be a bad pattern for my body type.

None of this is a knock against Eastman - I really believe they copied the original as best as they reasonably could. I just think whoever drew up the pattern back circa 1930 wasn’t a talented patterner.

I’m glad I’ve got one in my collection for variety, but it’s not my favorite jacket type. Definitely recommend getting one used, especially since the cape skin is seriously nice. All of the materials are top notch, in fact.

First post in this thread, I got this AVI HH Bronco a few months ago! I sized just loose enough for a tee shirt or a flannel, but anything thicker is out of the question. Going to get a slightly larger jacket sometime this winter!
Looks a little trim on you but not bad . I’d wear it for a while and give it a chance to stretch out a little . Try wearing a hoodie with it even though it will be tight. Just give it a chance to stretch out without forcing anything . You might just be happy with what you have.
