Wow is right! That is absolutely beautiful- color, grain, everything. Is that how the gorgeous grain was when you got the jacket or did you just wear the hell out of it? You look just like you could've gone to Schweinfurt in that jacket (and made it back)!

Hah, that might be the most creative comment I’ve seen! It had a lot of character out of the box (see below), but a combination of wear and fading it a bit in the Florida sun last summer have helped things along.

Beautiful then, much better now! I don't know if it counts in this thread, but yesterday (sorry, not today) I put on my Five* Irvin jacket, walked into the kitchen where my wife was, and gave her an English, palm forward salute. Her reaction? "Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha, dork." I'd like to see HER jump into a Spit 4 times in one day. Big shot.
