Like coolhand, I too picked up a Foster from 1959 a little while back , not nearly as mint, but as Burt would call it a “been there, done that jacket”. The more I wear it the more I love the patina and character. Not sure if I’ll fix this one up or keep wearing it as is. Solid piece of Cold War equipment, it was 85 with 84% RH this morning so now is a hood a time as any for a jacket pic

Todays choice desert-cammies US Army BDU in size "L" which i got together with matching pants from @B-Man2 Burt in great condition for a steal ...

This "cow" stuff gives me a goosebump, actually i like it a lot, nice fit..with the reddish/brick knits it would be a killer jacket imho.

Probably the same as most of us … over thought it… decided he had too many jackets and then the moment he shipped it off … felt sellers remorse. Theres about 4 of them that I wish that I had back but they are gone forever!! Damn that EBay !!

What Burt said. After I got the GW 27752, I went through a period where any time I wanted a seal A-2, I reached for that. But I really do like this one. It doesn’t reach John’s level of accuracy, but Badalassi cowhide is some seriously nice stuff, and it’s a fun pattern.
