Is the contract number reflecting an Aero contract, the red knits....?
Nothing in the ELC blurb that I’ve seen to suggest this but having a quick search, appears: ‘Aero first used the iconic red knits in their 21996 contract dated to October 1941’. I just love the seal n rust red … requested that my 50 Cal didn’t have any ‘ageing’ applied.

From my conversations with you, this Michigander has new-found respect for Oklahoma weather. You definitely have more to complain about than anyone else at or below your latitude. ;)

At least it wont be 65°F in two days only to be right back in the 30's. That's our typical schizophrenic winter weather pattern here.

To be perfectly honest, I don't know if I could make it through a Michigan, Wisconsin, or Minnesota type winter. There's a good reason why I never moved up to my wife's hometown in Montana.

MC N-1 with MASH USN watch cap and M-387G gloves...

The alpaca itself on that Real Mccoy is a work of art of accurately reproducing not just some parts but the whole, and that jungle cloth is amazing.
And MASH does a superb job with their Navy cap, I have one and it's almost indistinguishable from an NOS cap right down to the thickness and weave of the original wool.

Cheers Luke,
