I have an elc 50 cal, and when I ordered it, I too ask that it not have any "time worn" treatment. also, I asked for the panels to be mismatched in texture and color, as seen on originals.

The alpaca itself on that Real Mccoy is a work of art of accurately reproducing not just some parts but the whole, and that jungle cloth is amazing.
And MASH does a superb job with their Navy cap, I have one and it's almost indistinguishable from an NOS cap right down to the thickness and weave of the original wool.

Thanks Dany. I was satisfied with my Bronson N-1 until picking up the RMC. Haven't worn the Bronson since. I should probably pass it on to someone else.

I just messaged Jan a couple nights ago and told him to grab one of MASH's watch caps on his next order. I've purchased a few different versions and this one is by far the best. They're a little on the tight side at first, but I think they'll stretch out fine with use.

You can't go wrong with MASH cap for sure. The only difference I've notice is the length, MASH has more so you have to roll it higher or originals have shrunk a bit with time.

Funny true story: purchased a ‘Time Worn’ jacket from ELC, the zipper broke about 10th wear so I sent it back to them asking for a replacement, phoned them up as a follow on to discuss, jacket arrived safely but amount of wear was disputed until I pointed out it was a ‘Time Worn’ all worked out well in the end
