Nothing in the ELC blurb that I’ve seen to suggest this but having a quick search, appears: ‘Aero first used the iconic red knits in their 21996 contract dated to October 1941’. I just love the seal n rust red … requested that my 50 Cal didn’t have any ‘ageing’ applied.

At least it wont be 65°F in two days only to be right back in the 30's. That's our typical schizophrenic winter weather pattern here.

To be perfectly honest, I don't know if I could make it through a Michigan, Wisconsin, or Minnesota type winter. There's a good reason why I never moved up to my wife's hometown in Montana.

Yeah, NM has pretty rough heat and harsh winters too. I have in-laws in the ABQ area and their winters there aren't great. Even less so as you get a couple hours north.

I think it’s no coincidence if the Cal.50 have red knits.
