I have seen originals with the wind flap white decal and I might have an original with it. The same white decal was on the sides of leather flight helmets .

Tell me who knows, was this white AAF stamp on the originals A2s applied during redying or is it just a repro attribute and on the original A2 this decal was not on the inner flap side?

Size 38 Bronson L-2 arrived today. Fit is absolutely perfect...just wish that I would have ordered the same size in their L-2A. At least I know now to order the same size that their model Billy wears.

just catching up on old posts... I have the decal on a pair of flying trousers and way back in the '60s i bought a pair of flying gloves in Portobello road market that had cotton uppers, leather palms with teh decal on the cotton, don't know what they were, never seen a picture of the type since, came a couple of inches up the wrist, does anyone know ? .... sadly lost them. and re teh Chinese coins.....Mulceber, if not too badly worn, send me a photo front and back and I may be able to roughly date it

The C2 and the Rough Wear can get you thru some chilly temperatures. If you need a warmer option try the Rough Wear with a Woolley Pulley type sweater. They are a heavier wool knit

Bronson L2 looks amazing - these are such a great deal. Does anyone REALLY need any more accuracy than this? Irony on purpose ...................... I need to pull mine out of the closet!!!

Bronson makes some good stuff for sure. I see they have a B-15C mod, looks great. But not for me.
I'd still love a patchless 2nd pattern Tanker or a Harrington.
