Sun, morning frost -3C and old good lovely N3b. First time doggy walk after restoration this old lady. She sat in the closet many years due main zip damage. Many thanks to my friend Brice @Pilot for his help with vintage original Crown zip for replaicement old one.

Dimitri, that N-3B really fits you well! I am ''nylon head'' and always like to see N-3's.

That GW Perry looks amazingly like an original. Absolutely brilliant … if I may, can I offer just one small suggestion ;) View attachment 68909

But I was getting wet!!! :D

Besides, you can have too much of a good things plus I'm almost at the end of my photographic smile allowance for this quarter. These are hard times you know;)

That's the jacket I worked on, re-dyed and such.

Very nice Burt! That mouton looks plush!!!
Thanks Brett .
This being one of JCs earliest, if not his first B-15a, he did an outstanding job on it . The only thing I would like to do at some point is to obtain a military style label from him and have it sewn into the jacket and replace the commercial label that’s in there now . Of course by doing that , I’d loose some of the collector value of the jacket, since this was
one of his first B-15s and the label that is in the jacket now is probably no longer made or used . Anyone have any suggestions as to wether to change it out or keep it as it is ?

Burt, why not sit with it for a while?
If you end up hanging onto it, and wearing it, label won't really matter. Still leaves you with options.
Or...
As the lining isn't quite authentic either and the knits appear more brown, so if I was going to swop out the label, Id have the lining and knits done also - make it more uber-authentic all round.
And ask John if he'd do it.

Im looking at replacing the mouton on my ELC B-10 and 15 at some point also to something nicer and more authentic.

Good advice Brett …. Makes more sense to do that . You’re right about the lining also . I’ll keep it this way as it is kind of unique.
Thanks !:)
