What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Absolute gem. An Aero is what sprang to mind as soon as I saw it, very cool.

It's a cool jacket, unlike most high end jackets it drapes just like an original would have. The hide is wearing beautifully too.

I love it. To be more accurate I should change the knits but I I couldn't care less, I just like how it is.

Most comfy A-2 ever too, none of that modern veg tanned stiffness.

Back in the Gordon & Chapman ANJ3A to keep breaking it in. It’s also been introduced to inverted flight yesterday evening in a Pitts S2A

Without wanting to sound like a broken record Sideslip... this, for me, is the perfect U.S.N fit. Already draping beautifully.

Gordon & Ferguson might be my favourite Navy contractor. Talking with J.C a while back, he was spot on. Their jackets aren't particularly broad nor trim in any dimension, just a really nice clean, classic cut.

Thanks. The leather is totally different to the Monarch, less dense. One is not better than the other, they are just different.

Yet more grass cutting this afternoon. However, the weather had warmed slightly I opted for a slightly lighter Irvin. Lighter in the weight, not colour sense you understand.
Photographed here ready to sally forth on another dangerous mission deep into Lolium Perenne territory, ever mindful that the Creeping Red Fescue might be lurking in certain areas….

I’m doing the same here Steve. Probably for the last time this year. 12 degrees with a 40 kilometre wind. Quite chilly.

I would hope this is the last cut but the weather is set to get a bit warmer so who knows.
We’ve had a couple frosts already and the next two nights as well. It is supposed to be nice here later in the week. Hopefully I can get the wife up flying to see the fall colours. In recent years it’s been the only time she’s ever interested in flying with me. I guess the thrill is gone and the honeymoon is over;)
