Agreed - I should have read a bit closer - I was thinking $300-400 for a Vietnam G-1 (mainly thinking about D- and E-series). Korean War would be significantly higher.

The good news is that there are probably quite a few L.W.Foster 7823's from the late 50's about the place. They made over 50,000 of them and they turn up often enough.

It’s my sons birthday, so I sewed on my friends squadron patches which we picked up in Yokosuka. My buddy, call sign « Beaker » gave my son his call sign « ATIS », because he does not stop talking . VAQ-141 « Shadowhawks ». We spent the (very warm!) afternoon at my airfield for the Members Day watching the Lancaster, Hurricanes, Yak-3, 5/8 SE5a and some others do their stuff.
