Showing Eastman Some Love

I had a minor issue with one of my jackets.
Eastman picked it up by courier repaired it in 24 hours and returned it by courier in a new box and a new paper sack.
Great service and attention to detail.

Agreed John. They repaired the zip on my ELC 55J14 and were prompt in dealing with my request and extremely helpful throughout. Their customer service is a model that others should absolutely learn from.

My one dealing with customer services was also excellent, pretty sure they would have paid to have a jacket returned but I decided to use it as an excuse to visit the factory, garment was sorted whilst I drank coffee and browsed the show room, found a couple of things I liked and Rob did me a discount, all in all a very good experience.

Funny- compare this to the old school Eastman from the other thread! Here they've gone way overboard in "character". I know this is from some movie or publicity thing. It looks way too AUTHENTIC- most wartime photos don't show clothing this grizzled. Also- why did they ruin that fleece with motor oil or what have you?

Agree, the photographer does a cool job photographing re-enactors, US, British and German. That and the Eastman B3 looks damn good!

It’s a M-3 shoulder holster which was also issued to airborne troops and Tanker Crews. The paratroops jumped with these holster all during the war .

I was in Edinburgh almost five years ago, but didn't make the trip out to Galashiels as I didn't really have enough time. Was there for two days, so was concentrating on the Edinburgh sights.

Yesterday I ordered a collar strap and a leather zip fob for my Irvin. Both arrived TODAY..
Pretty good IMO

My old Eastman 1401p still going strong. Steve Sellars did a great job sewing the 13 Bomb Squadron patch with a russet leather border. The various stains on the jacket are from a combination of bike grease and wine spills. Don't drink and drive!
