Aero A2 quality check?

Very interesting! I've been dabbling in sewing clothes recently and mostly I just leave the tension well alone because I have no idea what it will do!

Once set up for a certain material, thread and needle the tension shouldn't need attention. Using guides like the above will help getting it set up correctly but if you are not used to adjusting the tension it can involve a bit of trial and error using bits of scrap material the same as the the work you intend to do.

Damn, I ordered an A2 Bronco Russet Vicenze from Aero a few days ago... I've had some problems several times with my previous purchases from other makers, I hope I don't have to experience this again...

It's a pitty that your A2 looks like this, with these cracks and so on...but still, it must be done right the first time, and the final check(er) must have seen this ‘in my eyes’…these aren’t cheap Mall jackets…

I would send these photos to them and ask if this is the intention and if anything can be done about it.

From what I see online, normally Aero Leather jackets look superb yet are quite meticulous with their work, that’s why I also went to them for my new jacket,
and luckily at Aero they respond immediately if I have any questions via email.
I hope everything will turn out well with your jacket

I'm sure your jacket will turn out great.the hide you have ordered wears different to the jerky horsehide. My jerky A2 was like cardboard when I 1st got it,I actually thought it would never drape right, thankfully it's one of my most comfortable jackets now.I owned a 1920s work coat in dark seal vicenze that was comfortable right out the box.No break in required. Plus zero flaws.

Sounds Like a great jacket A-2Wander, I'm sure it's going to turn out fantastic.

I would not worry either, I think this is a one off situation. I also have an order in with Aero for an Irvin and everything has been smooth so far with fantastic customer service I must say.
