What a great story and a great piece of history. I’m with you, don’t wear it and get a nice repro . I think we’d all like to see some pictures of your B-3 jacket. Any chance that you would consider posting a few for us ?

Shaun, thicker collar and cuffs and thinner Body shearling on a B-3, do you think it would work? Or maybe uniform thinner all over?
Would extend the wearability of the Classic B-3, wouldn’t want to lose the ‘essence’ of the jacket though.

Its Workable, Not a big deal to make this

Seems a little bit hot to wear such a jacket at this time, waiting for a russet one, but i really love to afford one for this winter

I’m seriously contemplating a B-3 styled jacket from Shaun, will be the thinner fleece mutant, weather too hot here at present to consider placing an order, but planning one for the not too far distant

Keep in mind if you do that the thinner fleece is not going to take up as much room, so the jacket will fit differently: you’ll probably have to go a size smaller.

Going to use my ELC D-1 measurements generally with a length that just covers the belt on my pants

Yeah, I was thinking that too. When I order, I'll probably provide measurements for the pocket. Also, there's usually some contrast between the shearling and the facings, even when it's seal on seal. But maybe the customer asked for it that way.

As before, the shearling looks lovely.

No not you, it does look a little undersize.

Pocket struck me as far too small and narrow, spoils the overall aesthetics of the jacket IMHO. Will certainly want a change there if I'm ordering...

Jacket size is Bigger, whereas Pocket size is same as I posted an illustration with pocket dimensions.
