tail of the B-17 Eager Beaver after a new waist gunner aboard one of her formation-mates got a little carried away. The entry in the pilot’s diary, dated Feb 18th, 1943, says, “New waist gunner shot hell out of tail today. Ship out for a week.”

The unicorn design is definitely kinda trippy. Also, really dig the use of enamels rather the modern way of painting using acrylic.

Let me seeeee........ From the size of the donuts.....the angle of the tray....... the tray size in comparison to her head size...........I make her about 4’ 11 to 5’1 tall ................Oh yeh..... no doubt about it .... she could fit into that ball turret
