They are all real cuties ... Aside from the minor fact that 2 out of 3 of the bomber guys didn’t make it back in 42 and 43 . When they weren’t fighting for their lives they did have a much better life style than the infantry guys in snow covered fix holes.
But the donut girls must have been hand picked because there are some real “hot tomatoes” there.

TSgt Ralph Madera, was awarded the DFC for patching and landing a crippled B-24 (he was not a pilot) after flack killed or wounded almost all on board. The fuselage was almost cut in half, and bomb arming wires were used to splice the control cables.
