In addition to nice planes, I was also always impressed by how the mannequins of pilots in the cockpits and the technicians "doing maitenence" service were selected. One day, a few years ago, I walked half a day across the hangars and photographed only these figures near the planes. At a certain angle and lighting, they look very realistic.

I didn't see Shoo Shoo Baby, but with all of the aircraft in the various buildings I could have missed it.
Glad to see that you made it there as well.. :)

Dave;
Oh Man...My apologies.....I totally forgot that you posted most of these photos.
But I am happy to see that you made it here ...:)
Not at all buddy, your guide to the whole museum is far more complete :) For folks who’ve never been, they can now feel like they’ve been.
Don’t forget to mention the W-P “Cockpit360” app too. You don’t have to be at the museum to use it. But if you are at the museum, it brings up what you are standing near

Shoo Shoo Baby was moved out to make room for the Belle display, I believe she is currently in storage but will be transferred to the Smithsonian, [Washington DC] for display there.

For those who might not be familiar with the Smithsonian Air and Space Museums ( there are 2 separate buildings, one in Washington DC.and the 2nd at Dulles Airport in Virginia) it’s a wonderful place to see aviation history and exhibits from the past . I’d give it 4 stars and recommend it to anyone visiting those areas of the US.
