Hey
I’m a longtime Harley rider as well. Trust me you don’t want an Irvin for riding your bike. I
Know others here are going to disagree, but having tried it I found that you can’t move to freely with your arms and upper body . It’s just too bulky. In really cold weather I used to wear a long sleeve base layer and a submariner sweater with a battery heated vest under my MC jacket . I was never cold .
100%,,it would be ripped to shreds in seconds, offer no protection whatsoever. The irvin is warm but certainly not for riding. I know some have done it,I see dafties riding with no gloves, shorts and sandals, thanks but no thanks.i don't care how hot it get,it's not happening.

My solution for wearing your A2 almost year around, and it works better than anything I’ve found .:)

For sub 0°C ??? I found very effective modern commando sweater, 100% acrylic very effective 'cause very tight knit fabrics and also quite thine anough to be comfortable in the A2. But at that price , I would not say no to try that heated vest .

Just took our pups for a "walkabout" to the back of our property.
As it's sunny and cold here, I wore my ATF B-10 over a Flying Tigers t-shirt I bought at the USS Midway gift shop a while ago.

Right after this, I finally pulled the trigger on the MASH made AAF insignia transfers for this and some spares for future projects. This has always been one of my favorite feeling jackets but the lack of the AAF meatball has been an annoying detail that ATF never put on, due to all the "Bandwagon of Brothers" (E/1/506 PIR) re-enactors who wanted a naked sleeve for their 101st AB patches...
