I stayed pretty warm with my Schott motorcycle jacket and base layers back then. But dang I couldn’t find a leather glove with any kind of lining to keep my hands warm. Thought about the heated gloves for a long time but i just couldn’t justify them when 10-11 of my months riding time was above 65F! I do miss the old FLHTCI though!Hey

Know others here are going to disagree, but having tried it I found that you can’t move to freely with your arms and upper body . It’s just too bulky. In really cold weather I used to wear a long sleeve base layer and a submariner sweater with a battery heated vest under my MC jacket . I was never cold .
