The freezing fog has been so thick here today that it’s been a job to see very far at all. I’ve been having one of periodic big bonfires so my much used and abused British army DPM combat jacket has had to do.

Hello , really nice !!! Is that HH ? Goatskin ? I'm in discussion with JC and I'm about to choose the kind of leather for the A2 I want ( possibly RW 42-1401-P ) and the GW Bronco goatskin led me to revise my judgment and my choice about the choice of leather that would have been HH but now goatskin tends to get my favores . The dark brown on goat is fabulous with the grain . Bogen are all goatskin ?

Yes , that's the feeling I had when reading and watching the posts of @Saint-ex and @coolhandluke who have both jackets from the same Horween HH . The leather subject i'n't closed with JC . Thanks Jan

Maybe you feel a lttle stuck in , with a too heavy sweater ? Like me you are not a thin guy so this kind of jacket makes me feel like I was oversized. My feeling . But you are tall and "barraqué " , perso je trouve que ça passe bien

Yes, Bogen & Tenenbaum made AN-6552s (AN-J-3As). They were all goatskin as far as I know. Not sure if this particular goat type is still offered by John. Not sure what kind it is, but it has a finish with some lighter brown undertones.

I’m a bit upset though, this is one of them that I can tell is starting to get a little tight around my midsection. Guess I should hit the gym!
