Maybe it just me, but from the desktop and in that light that goat look 100% like an original USN jacket.
You are lucky to have this in your collection!
Nope you’re correct. This particular Mexican stuff J.C has, chrome tanned, aniline, thick, consistent scratch-like grain and soft, drapey but strong. It’s the most definite U.S.N leather I’ve come across and is identical to originals I’ve both seen and handled.

I’m on the main man’s list for an ANJ-3A and I’m thinking it’ll have to be the same goatskin again, it’s just magnificent!!

New (to me) Aero 15142. The previous owner hadn't worn this much outside so the leather is stiff as all get out. I need to wear the piss out of this (and maybe do the drying machine trick). Loving it so far though

I had a very good experience with the GT11gliftone conditioner , just passing the jacket in the shower , let it dry on you and then use the conditioner . ThanX to A2Wander to share me an Eu market link to not pay too much to get it . I applied some on my A2 ELC that was like yours quasi unworn , now it fit very good and feel souple , not too much . My though about the washing machine is that it is too extre , we are talking about very good quality leather and seams and etc . Stressing the jacket that way to get an instant result could possibly drive yours in a way you don't want at all , in a definite and no going back result. Your jacket looks pretty cool btw !!!
