Man, that is a toasty warm jacket. Own one myself. But, had the knits replaced with a set of JC's rust knits.

Cool enough today to wear an original WWII Willis and Geiger M-422a. This jacket was originally issued to pilot Lieutenant Nathanial G. Kanrich, USNR who flew off the USS Princeton CVL-23 which was sunk in the Battle of Leyte Gulf east of Luzon on October 24th, 1944. The jacket is in perfect original condition. My grandfathers m-1943 to work in the yard which is what he wore it for. He was drafted for 1 year of service in January of 1941. He was one month from going home when Pearl Harbor was attacked. He spent the next 4 years of his life in the European Theater.

Nov 13, and still riding, it actually hit +9c in the sun today
Colder temps and snow is a possibility by Monday or Tuesday
Wearing my schott 184 bomber with light insulated jacket
And heated vest, a great ensemble as when the sun goes down
+9c becomes +2c by the time I get home
Finished my ride at an interesting mileage number
