Bit chilly so wore my new Aero Irvin to venture forth to have my first Covid jab, collect rolls of tinfoil to fashion into a new hat, plus several strings of fresh garlic, a box of crucifixes, a copy of the best selling "A Beginners Guide To Conspiracies" and some polish to buff up our extensive collection of Illuminati icons...

Burt, how nice to see the original. This is a gorgeous jacket! Thank you for post it.

My question is not entirely on the thread. On mine Star is also worn out and begins to show a small tear in the liner in the neck area as in your photo. Are there ways to repair it locally? I believe that it is still a long time before replacing the liner. My seamstress suggested that I glue this crack, but did not have time to do it when the jacket was last with her. Thanks.

I took a toothpick and some glue made for gluing fabric together . I then placed tiny droplets of glue on the tip of the toothpick and placed the glue under the torn lining in very small amounts and sealed the lining back into place around the collar .
