Don’t blame you. WWII jackets in that condition have become almost non existent anymore . They are far and few in between .
At our age they go into private collections and they don’t come out again for 10 or 15 years .

I won't be selling this one. If I had to sell all my jackets. This one would be the only keeper.

I wore the new ELC B-3 out and about today, even though it was more B-6 weather. Not sure if I'll ultimately keep it, but it's an insanely warm jacket, no doubt. I almost didn't need the heat on in the car.
