Thanks for your kind words, @CK90. To be honest, I was not expecting the jacket to fit that well. That was a nice bonus. It feels almost tailor-made!Wow! That's a precious one Lorenzo, you couldn't have gotten a better fit if you tried, perfection!
Beautiful brickwork and pretty decent jacket. Some fine Victorian brickwork and a fine bit of goat in my Monarch AN-J-3A repro courtesy of Dave Sheeley.

Trawling back through 21996 references on the forum after seeing that stunning latest combat clone by John, I think this might just be one of my favourite A-2 contracts. Most definitely on my Good Wear wish list. Jan, this is a special one you’ll no doubt be holding onto for time eternal. Would you consider having JC make one up to compliment this beauty of an original?Too damn hot for jackets today, so it’s dress-up in the basement. Aero 21996:

Thanks! Those are Mid Brown knits. Not quite russet as they don't have enough red hues, but similar. This color is a good basic "middle of the road" type brown that is a good match for many original A-2's that had lighter brown cuffs.Jay, what color are those knits? Russet? They look great. I second what Burt writes as well.
Might be biased here because it’s one of my (newly) favourite contracts but this has to be one of the most epic originals I’ve seen on the forum. Just look at it shimmer in that sunlight! Knockout stuff Jan.Barely cool enough weather for an original, so here we go. Aero 21996:

I literally stumbled across your restoration thread about half an hour ago. Bravo, you really brought this one back to life dude, must be a joy to wear. I’m guessing a good conditioning really gave that hide a boost? Thanks Chris - did you see the thread on restoring it?
