FWIW -- I was excavating my storage unit yesterday and came upon the original knits for that jacket! Not earthshaking news, but I always thought I'd put them in one of the pockets, but couldn't find them. Had stuffed them into my M-1 helmet, then into a box, and into the unit... somewhere next to the Lost Ark of the Covenant.Giving the MONARCH (@Chandler you'd recognized it) some air ...
some dude on the street directly asked me whether it might for sale - well for sure not but obviously there is still some people out there recognizing the "good stuff"

What Price Glory. Out of Salinas, CA. Made in Pakistan. I have lots of their khaki shirts and button-fly khaki trousers.
BTW, the inside button anchors are clear plastic. Photos of real and replica jackets show ivory colored, light brown, none at all, and everything in between.
I roughed them up with 150 grit and painted them matching brown with the acrylic paint I use on my leather patches.
