Though I don't recommend wearing a watch with a knit cuffed jacket due to the inevitable wear on the latter (if not both), any of these might do. From L, Air Ministry Omega Mk VIIa (1943), RCAF Waltham A-11 (1942, redialed 1968), USAAF Bulova A-11 (1943), USAAF Elgin A-11 (1944).

Pilots also had larger watches with a larger crown, for legibility and control in low light conditions and while wearing gloves. For our pilots, these were mainly: Longines, Lemania and Eterna.

The luminescence of the hands can be changed and patinated to make everything look believable. But it is no longer the original radium or tritium.
