Greeting. New to site. Can anyone provide info on this jacket, Please:

1. Victory Sportsware Label
2. Three Soldiers in upper left on label.
3. Sunset back.
4. RIRI Zipper (replacement ?)

zipper replaced to open and close European style: ie: left side pull.however, im not familiar with victory jackets, but it does look us made. could be 1930s, but more likely 40s- early 50s. hang around, and perhaps someone in the know may have more info for ya.

Jacket looks to be about a 1940s-1950s horsehide half belt with a great looking sunset back . These jackets were very popular in the U.S. during that time period. I’m guessing but the “Victory” name tag is so typical of products that were made during WWII and post war and that it is almost a sure bet that the jacket was made in the U.S.
As posted above by Silver Surfer the jacket may have found its way to Europe at some point thus the zipper change. Motorcycle jackets are now made by a company using the “Victory Motorcycle “ name . I don’t know if there’s a nexus there .
