Never thought of that. I thought he was wearing a ww1 us army uniform. Or pre war maybe.

I’m not sure myself If it’s a US Officer certainly could be say around 1936 or there about .

Ok. Couldn’t remember if that uniform was pre ww1 or 2. Always thought they were pretty darn cool.

That was the typical US Cavalry officers uniform with the riding boots and the britches .

Thanks for that … never knew that we had High Ranking Axis Personnel in the U.S. just 10 days before Germany invaded Poland.

Just like L-C said. U.S. was remain neutral at that time, and her army was weak , I believe its size was weaker than Portuguese army.
