Which project jacket?

@Griffon_301 has inspired me to think about a project, namely a Star Wars-themed flight jacket. There are some pretty good flight patches out there but the question is: what jacket should I put them on?

Top of my list is a WEP since it's relatively unusual and has a 70s look. However, finding one in my size (40-ish) for anything other than silly money is hard, unless I roll the dice on a Chinese copy. There's the MA-1, obviously. I could go CWU (36 or 45), or an Army Cold Weather Jacket.

Is there something else I'm forgetting? Any ideas/comments welcome!

Cheers,

Steve

I made an "imperial veteran" one out of a cheap Chinese MA-1-ish lightweight jacket I scored off Amazon for around $30. The patches cost more than the jacket, as did the sewing at a uniform shop outside Joint Base Lewis/McChord that I used on active duty.

The nametape says, "veteran" in the Star Wars script, and the rank is Captain, which was my real rank when I puched out.
