Come on Bill, I know there are more girls, sailors have them in every port!
Haha! I have some old B&W pictures of me and some LBFMs in the P.I. like Alan's picture somewhere. I'm going to have to dig those up!

It is a little hard trying to explain what LBFMPBR are to the new generation of Sailors. The PI was one of my first liberty port in 1991. Spent every E-1 penny I had in Bario :D .

 Man, I gave up on telling P.I. stories to people who weren't there. Nobody believes you!

I remember we had a guy in my flight that got caught wearing the T.I. hat while he was out. That was the funniest thing seeing the T.I. come through the door behind the poor kid wearing "the hat".

OMG, was I really that young??????
I had forgotten this photo existed until I recently rediscovered it in a box of old photos. This was taken in 1970, when I was stationed at Torrejon AFB, Madrid, Spain. I was getting ready to attend a formal affair on base, thus the summer Mess Dress uniform. The woman in the picture is my ex-wife (at the time, fiancee). I hesitated to even post this as I look waaaaaaaaay too young (and innocent??) to be a Captain in the USAF!! Some good times were had in Spain in general, and in Madrid in particular.
