My last A-2 (hopefully) - Good Wear

I initially felt that the shoulders were a bit wide, and with the larger arm holes had me feeling like an 80s character from Miami Vice.
More room in the upper arms than any other A-2 I've owned.
But, it's settled in nicely and is now one of the most comfortable A-2s ever.
•The pics dont show it properly, my sh1tty phone cam distorts everything•

Not had much time these last months to post stuff, but I think its time to show this.
GW Monarch (please excuse the poor pic).
For anyone in the queue.... Monarch... Yes!

Man, that is a real stunner Brett! Square shoulders look beautiful.

Is that the Italian dark russet HH? One of my favourite leathers now, just sets off any jacket and it’s the perfect shade too. Thinking about that Dubow in this exact leather.

Yes, Italian russet hh with a slight tint/wash, to give a more neutral tone. Tends to darken very slightly.
I dont have pics to show, but side by side its so darn close to my original Bronco.

A Dubow 20960 or 27798 (or any other A-2) would be amazing in this stuff.

GW 1761 arrived yesterday and it did not disappoint! Really happy with the fit considering that this was my first order from JC. I can't get over how absolutely cool this contract is with the blackened Talon zip, exposed blackened hardware, ring snaps, OD thread and zipper tape, and dark rust cotton lining.

Really, really good. Nice acquisition, Lucas.

I'm sure it won't be your last GW - any thoughts on what comes next? ;)

Thanks Jan. I'm honestly thinking a B-6 will likely be the next GW. I don't own anything in shearling. There's probably a good reason for that though. There's probably only 10-20 days a year that I could get away with wearing it. The B-6's and B-3's are just so dang cool though.

The nice thing about a B-6 is, if you unzip it and don't snap up the sleeves, you can wear it any time it's remotely chilly. MAYBE up to about 50F.
That's perfect then. Our high temps in December through February are typically in the 30's - 50's. We'll have the occasional 0 - 20 degree days, but they’re few and far between. It's still in the high 60's / low 70's currently.

That hide and the jacket as a whole not to mention the fit really is quite something. Exceptional.

Man... the thing with J.C is, he very nearly outdoes the original contractors, this Bronco being no exception.

What more can I say than this is a work of art Coolhand, take good care of it and wear it in the finest of health!!
