It really is a shame because when BK first showed up and started making jackets, their customer service was great and their jackets were really nice. Best of all was that prices were very reasonable. Now all those positive aspects of the BK business model have changed and fallen by the wayside. Long wait times, questionable quality control problems, poor communications. They’ve really gone down hill. The sad part is, that most people would endure much of that crap, if only BK would communicate with them and let them know what’s going on with the orders.
When you plop down $800-$1000 to an Internet company that you’ve never dealt with before , you want to be able to get a response to any questions or concerns you have about your order. Yeah Looks like BK has “shit the bed” .

I saw on the dealer's page on the BK web site that a lot of them are in Asia 90% Japan . Perhaps one of the reason of lack of reactivity is that there is a lot of orders in Japan ? I may be wrong. In any case, this does not excuse certain failures in communication.
Japanese subcontractors, they work for Japanese big brand (1st line and 2nd line) , as well. Every gents here can imagine what the rest of the story is.

Interesting, they always replied to me within a few days, and I can only speak highly of the jackets I got from them. I never waited longer than a year, more like half a year. I have an ongoing order at the moment, I hope my experience will be just as positive as it has been so far.

For my part I will wait for my jacket. I saw the result of the order I ordered on A2wander, I had the 20% black friday promo, so I can wait. My only concern is about communication: I sent two messages about getting an invoice and the fact that my order is still notified as "A pre-order". I want to know if everything is fine and on its way. I filled out the famous questionnaire which is quite complete. By the way, can you tell me about this status? Will it be as it is noted or, when the order is in real progress, will it change?

Thanks for response Lord Flash , When I wrote this comment I was in the "excitment" phase , now it's the calm and LOOoong waiting phase . I'm sure I won't be disapointed ! With all the praise and the jackets pics on the forum I can't be . Especially when i saw the @A2wander RW 27752 ! I ordered the same contract . And , yes , now I know that the principa BK skill is not communication ! I rather quality than com ;)

and you certainly won't regret it, is a beautifully put together jacket.

Many of us here have done the excitement/calm/anticipation/excitement & delivery thing. BK score well on the detail but patience is a tough old thing to manage.
20 years of mariage Lord Flash , 20 years and many more to come ! That's the key !!! ahahaha ;) I'm talking about the patience my wife shows , it's inspirationnal !!! :p ( I will experiment that on my next , GW I think )
