Yet again proof if you want a high end A-2 from someone who isn't going to shaft you, throw your money at GW or ELC.

The fact they sent personal details willy-nilly around the internet just goes to show what a bunch of 1st rate arseholes they are.

I wouldn't trust these bastards with a 5c stamp.
Well put

Thank you gents!

Bill, hopefully the sizing will work out OK for you and you are good to go. The jacket was indeed very well made with really nice leather. As long as you you will be able to put it on, there will be no troubles.

It is only their horrendous and evil customer service. I am also not sure that exceeding the 6 month PayPal protection limit is not unintentional. Maybe it is truly the volume of their incoming orders. Good for them. Maybe not just that. Fool me once...

Anyway, all the best boys! Have some more enjoyable shopping experience :p Take care

Did you end up posting a fit pic of the jacket? I can’t remember anymore, but I’d be curious to see it.

I know this is a bit outside of the discussion but can anyone tell me what the current “wait time” is for a BK A2??
Nowadays the wait time with me is already over 14 months….hopefully I will get it soon.
Last email I’ve got was a little over a month ago’Pete told me the jacket was in the making….. “does it really take a person more then 1 month to make an A2???? Pffff

What I don't quite understand is that some people who ordered after you have already received their jackets. Maybe there are problems with the supply of specific raw materials, but I can't really believe it.
It is strange that others who came after me received their jackets, Pete told me that he suddenly had no leather skins, a few months later he had no zippers, and months later he had received "wrong knits"... and that everything with me... I really find it all very strange and very annoying... if the communication was very good.., but even that is bad... next time my money will go to another reproduction maker

Hello Sir,
When you placed an order and everything is fine. 7 months later you get an email with "NOS Crown zipper is not available".
I asked when the jacket would be made and he said maybe in 8 months.
Well frankly that's not serious.
Hello ! Yes , I understand the disillusion. By my side , I'm gonna wait a little. Was it difficult to cancel and get back all your money ?

I’ve had a similar issue as well…after the 5th month they ran out of leather for my jacket, months later no zippers, and later he no more knits (took +/- 4 months to dye it in the USA.
Finally the jacket arrived, but 3 sizes to big…
I’ll spend my money elsewhere….

I’m not saying the quality is bad, because it’s an a-ma-zing jacket with one of the best leather and finishes…just a top build jacket..
Only the (re)stock of materials is a big problem over there…..
I saw on the dealer's page on the BK web site that a lot of them are in Asia 90% Japan . Perhaps one of the reason of lack of reactivity is that there is a lot of orders in Japan ? I may be wrong. In any case, this does not excuse certain failures in communication.

Bk complaints seem to be common. I don’t know why anyone deals with them anymore. Not as if they’re budget priced.
