Like I've wrote somewhere before I really like the B-1 / B-2 jackets. They combine the practical advantages and sharp look of the Irvins with a more sturdy and robust outer shell of Horsehide, so you don't have to worry about rips or weakened sheepskin etc. And you can choose if you want a warmer version with sheepskin / moquette lining or a more lighter version with blanket lining so there is something for everyone.
I don't really care about the usage of the pocket (what was the point of fierce debates in the past) - Irvins don't have pockets anyways...

The collar on the B1&2 is just so damn huge though. Like hella big for modern wear.

If I could get one with a toned down collar and a B1 shearling lining... then I'd probably shell out 3K right quick.
