Used to have a great B-3 , but sold it during a period of temporary insanity. It was veg. tanned aniline finish.
They have been making Capesheep A-1's for well over 10 years.

Allen,

the A-1 rocks!!

My GW A-1 is my favourite wearer. Very easy to wear, so soft, light and comfortable. Ideal and classy summer jacket...though currently my Perry gets more wear time to break it in.

Thanks Van..Did you ever get an A-1 from JC?

If not this cape is really sweet. If you did, you know what I'm talking about.

No not yet.
Went with an Aero Bootlegger(that should arrive any day).
Next on agenda...GW A1.

Well you certainly made a great chioce. That one sweet Aero. What hide did you get?

Went with the brown hvy FQHH like on my Hwymn for the Bootlegger....although I think Aero's latest batch may be a little darker HH. It was shipped the 21st..but seems to be stuck in customs according to the tracking no.
I'm nervous as a chinchilla running back and forth peeking out the picture window for the mail truck...

BTW...If a Hoosier misses the Delivery Mailtruck..then gotta stand in line at the central mega post office gawdawful governmental time consuming boring red tape BS station with our pink slip "missed delivery" notice in hand...unfolded and ever-ready to prove ID.
I haven't enjoyed standing in line since the US Army years of "Hurry up and wait"...!!

Airfrogusmc,

Noticed that you went without a pencil/pen pocket separation. . .

Your GW A-1 looks phenomenal! I like it more than your custom Aero A-1.

If and when you get around to it, a couple of quick shots of how it drapes on the wearer would be greatly appreciated.

Like you said with his first M422, imagine how his tenth would be, the A-1 pattern has been fine tuned since its debut last year, and it looks like someone's NOS.

Congrats!

Full Gear notes an early version by Mirabelli Bros. Co. with that DWG. No. 074734 (Order No. W535 AC2486).

I guess the rest is made up.
