Had a chance to see this jacket first hand. A really nice jacket that I would have purchased except for running out of my "jacket allowance" for the next few months and having similar at home that already aren't getting enough wear.
I haven't come across that many 46's...which is my size. Fit...
If you are one of the lucky/cursed ones that is the same size as John, buy a new GW "prototype" from the GW site's "Sale" page when they pop up.
Patience does have it's virtues. For me, it's been better bet to play it up front with a deposit than hope for a market change.
There is a lesson...
FWIW....
Ordered approx. 18 months ago, my GW cost me the same as what BK is selling a new A2 with "VH" leather today.
If only I could do as well with the stock market. :lol:
The BK jacket was the end result of my returning a prior BK jacket whose fit I was not happy with. I'll keep this one and likely either shorten the sleeves or see if one of my sons would like it.

Here are comparable photos of the close up shots I took of the BK;
The BK has a "boxier" fit. Leather is a bit heavier.
I used the same sleeve measurements on both jackets. The BK's will have to be shortened a fair amount.
I ordered the dark purple knits for both jackets. The BK's knits are much redder...more in line with the red knits on my GW Aero.
Here is...
About 6 months ago I received a new BK Dubow 1755, seal "VIctory Horse" leather, dark purple knits.
Last week I received a new GW Dubow 1755, made with the new seal cowhide John has in, purple knits.
Both jackets were "custom made", same measurements.
Here are some photos.
The GW first;
