Here's my German version; ELC Hartmann with original "egg" grenade pull ball. Legend has it that experten would add a relevant coloured grenade pull ball depending on status. I recall reading somewhere that blue was medium burn fuze whereas red was a quick fuse denunciation on the grenades, so if you were an ace you has a red quick ball being "quick on the ball"! Don't know how much truth is in it but it looks cool and makes a curious zip pull that provokes a lot of questions! I have seen original pics where these are used as well as stick grenade porcelain balls.
