What is your measurements, just so we all know what size chap you are?
Hi, I'm about 5'11 with 44 inch chest and 41 inch waist.
As for the measurements of the jacket:
Pit to Pit: 25,5 in
Shoulder: 21,25 in
Back length: 25 in
Sleeve length: 24,5 in
It has enough room for me to easily layer a sweater and still move around comfortably.

Thanks for the measurements. I purchased my tanker from "At the Front" military reproductions in Kentucky, U.S.A. . I was very pleased with the quality of the jacket which I ordered with the fleece lining instead of the original wool lining. The price of the jacket was lowered by using the fleece lining and it's not as scratchy as some of the wool lining are. I think I paid around one hundred dollars with shipping. I ordered an XL which was probably a mistake since I'm close to your size but I like wearing my jackets loose and it gives me the freedom to layer clothing underneath it. Mine is at a local shop at this time having some patches sewn on.

Oh nice, what patches?
I've been thinking about replacing this one with either a better quality one (Buzz Rickson, WWII impressions, ATF) or with a B10/15 flight jacket.
