The color of the fabric doesn't bother me, I find it close to what you can see on some originals.

( although you sometimes have to be wary of the color rendering of old Kodachrome photos).

I'm with you!

I would not spend too much time thinking about the color of the fabric. Different makers, 80 yrs back, color-match standards and yes - the quality of color-photos are mixing everything up a bit ...

today it's a BR WEP and black Papa Nui P-80 cap for a quick hop to the city to pick up a book.
I am currently mostly wearing either the WEP or the MA-1 as I have grown to like both warmer nylons very much.
both are easy wearing and light while retaining very good warming characteristics.

Today again the 5Star RW 27752 - trying to get as much wear on her as possible …

Worn her with shirt ‘n tie in the office, turtle-neck sweater in the production area - doing some plumbing on the wife’s washer ‘n some other chores

Monkeys and watch cap are BRONSON - boots were sitting on the shelf for years and got “resurrected” …

Not such a good “pose” - seems I gained weight????? (fingers crossed some dudes will deny so I feel slim ‘n sporty like when I was in my 50ies …).
