Hey ! Gizemo is already a classic here ! The fabric seems very souple and aged , very cool . Tanker boots all the way and the spiky hair cut gives you a "Punky" style ! I'm not laugin' at you , I used to wear an Iroquoi hair cut since my 14 to my 30's

By "H," I can only assume you mean Herringbone Twill. And yes, quite agreed, it's far too cold for that right now.

Perhaps he means Harris tweed? I always think women look very fetching in well cut tweed. Warm too.

The old timers were correct in their assessment. “You were either freezing or sweat your ass off.” Can’t wait for my GW Combat Clone. This jacket is due for a new liner and knits. Worn through, frayed, and torn. The picture gives a false sense of “newness”. It’s shade between Russet and Seal Brown to my eyes. This was after a fresh coat of oil last summer.

I totally get the hot and cold thing. I flew as an observer in a variety of small aircraft years ago and could never get the jacket thing right. However, I finally found a jacket that fixed the freezing part when flying at altitude. I got my hands on a commercial LL Bean Shearling flight jacket that really was the best flight jacket I’ve ever owned for flying . It kept me warm at altitude and was still light enough to carry around and to travel with. You should consider giving one a try if you can find one .

The brown buttons are accurate to some of the B-10 contracts (not that that negates your point, just relevant information).

Thanks for that detail Jan - didn’t know before or simply didn’t realise when checking on pics of originals. Maybe it is just the fact that I mainly have repops in mind when visualising a B10????
