Not really a flight jacket question…

If you have an A2, but you remove the epaulets, wool knits, and convert the cargo pockets to side entry/ hand warmer pockets, what do you have? A racer? A trucker? A civilian flight jacket?

Well I don’t mean taking those things off of of an a2, but what would that type jacket be called.

I guess the way I phrased the question does give the impression of altering an already manufactured A2. That’s not what I mean. What is a simple (not a bunch of seams, zippers, chest pockets, chains that would jingle) leather jacket without the wool, epaulets, and with side entry pockets be called?

This is a reproduction of the jacket that Harrison Ford wore in the movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark “ They’re available from the company that actually made the jacket for the first “Raiders” movie . The company, “Wested” is located in the UK .

Zip and other features, you need to makeup by yourself

A jacket exactly like that won’t cheap, need larger piece of leather.

If need to lower the price, have to break up back panel and sleeves panel into smaller pieces, like this pic
