Just back from a walk with these two ladies. The human is rocking an Eastman Perry B3

as BR sizing does not necessarily reflect true sizes I am always curious to see how certain jacket styles do look and fit...
may I ask do you usually wear size 40 from other manufacturers as well?

It’s a funny design. The BR B-15 has a really pronounced neck hole forward slope it feels like. Not my favorite design…could be improper sizing. This is a 40.
For ne the “problem“ ist the funny puffy cuffs and the wide sleeve. Will post some pictures tomorrow. Bought the jacket off the bay - doNot know how old it is but it seems to be in almost new condition. I wanted a “Blue MA-1“… Mine is a 40 too.

I wear a 40 in most jackets aside from an A-2, which I wear a size 42 in. Typically a size 40 or medium from BR fits me perfectly. As far as other manufacturers are concerned, I also wear a 40 (or medium) in the RMC, TMC, ELC, and Bronson non-A-2 jackets that I own. The 4 A-2's that I own from GW and BK are all 42's. My Sheeley AN-J-3A is a 40, but it’s at least an inch or two too small in the chest.

you are a lucky guy :)! my BR jackets are sizes from 40 up to 44, depending on the type and cut.
same with their shirts.
I am grateful to have a local BR source so I can try out certain garments...
as for their leather jackets, I see that most of them go no larger than 44 which theoretically limits my choices as my usual size is 46 in most of my ELC jackets.

The only BR jackets that I own are the AN-6552, B-10, A-2 deck jacket, and L-2. I've just been fortunate enough not to run across any of their models that are really generously sized.

it's just a matter of being able to get the measurements beforehand or be able to try them :)
unfortunately the otherwise really great BR catogue does not feature measurements for their garments...

You are likely already aware, but HPA has measurements and a very helpful sizing guide if you're ever in need of dimensions on a specific BR product that they may carry.

I’m looking around a bit for an B-10 from BR but those sizes……I need 67cm sleeves but then the chest is way too big for me…
Are there any makers who do customization that you know??

I am, but of course that works only if they feature what one is looking for :)

to come back to the topic, your AN6552 is a really great looking jacket and it fits you perfectly!
