I've never owned a B10, for the jeep in those in between English months, between shearling and leather, I used my Arctic M41, with a thicker blanket lining than the ordinary M41, other differences, it was longer, with a buckled cinch on cuff rather than button. I just preferred the style to the B10. My original example had been cut down for some reason when I acquired it, possibly to just make it look like a normal M41. It's warmed up here in last couple of days to a balmy 9C so it's come out of the cupboard.

I‘ve seen several photos before showing US personnel on the Aleutians during WW2 but i always thought they would be even a thad longer???

Decided to air out an Eastman Werber 1729 today in a size 46. This is one of my favorite jackets, simply because I was wearing it at the Show of Shows last year when I had the extreme pleasure and of meeting WWII and Korean War, P-51 Ace Joe Peterburs. Joe and I had a beer together and had a great conversation where he told me about being one of the flyers to shoot down an ME-262 Jet.What an interesting story and a nice person. He was 99 years old at the time and sharp as tack. I understand that he recently turned 100 years old . I’m hoping he’ll be able to make this Februarys SOS’s this year. Almost forgot to tell you that he autographed this jacket .

I think it’s a good repro of an early Werber. I’m sure there’s others here who will disagree.
