Today was the exception , well, like yesterday . I like foggy days too , it's instilling a fantasmatic atmosphere .
Hi Michael ! A pic of my subrurban landscape this morning . We decided , my wife andI , to leave Paris for that too, more space, less stressed and more polite people and to have a horizon in front of my eyes without buildings. Near the forest and have some foggy mornings like that ;) I remember when I lived in the couintry side morning like that , walking with my fellow dog : good times ! Today will be a A2 deck jacket day ;)

Gosh, that is a beautiful and rustic view, I agree with you that you have left Paris... personally I don't like crowds and that is why I moved from Tilburg (NL) to Weelde (BE)
Here I live with I think about 4,000 people in a quiet village.
Fortunately it is currently 0 degrees here and I can wear my B3 jacket :)
and what you say, in the morning it is also very foggy here in the countryside, especially at this time of year... I like that.
and if you want to experience the hustle and bustle, Paris is also nearby :)

After 70 odd years living (and being born there), plus another 9 living in various parts of the world, I moved out just over a year ago to Sandwich in Kent UK, a small Medieval (once walled) town where nothing is more than 200 yards walk away, 12 pubs (one just 50 yards away), small art deco cinema, deli, small supermarket. Ok, we don't have the amazing cosmopolitan food choice of London, but we don't have the pollution either. And following on from the recent art school theme I also went down that route, 1962 at Bromley at same time that Bowie was a student there, then RCA in London, but like other members here finding that didn't earn me a living I fell into computing which became my career without ever being interested in it. But it paid for me to bring up 3 kids and own classic cars and bikes over the decades, so i'm not grumbling. The old B6 today as it's damp and miserable.
