So …. By now most of you know that I live in Florida, where it’s hot year around and the temperatures average around 74 Degrees Fahrenheit. Keep this in mind as you look at the photos and read the text of this thread. At the end you’ll be asking yourself the same question that I ask myself every time I buy one of these jackets. “ Why in the hell does he need one of those and when does he get a chance to wear it . The short answer to that question is;
“ Be damned if I know “ ;)
So … let’s get right to it , here are the As and Bs of collecting Original Arctic Flight Jackets .

THE A’s

I’ve also got the Lancer N-2B in XL which is my Winter go to. There’s also an N-2A which comes out high days and holidays. One service issue N-3B and an Alpha Civvy version when you want the look but not to boil.

This pic is few years back. Was gonna post an update here when have time to do so. I'll get better pics of these and more stuff in the future.

From left to right the order is as purchased:

Skyline Clothing N-2B size M, Masland & Son's A-2B size L, Sigmund Eisner N-2 size XL

My thing has become to buy more or less beaten up jackets cheap and then stitch them up. That way I do wear them daily without too much concerns compared to if I had paid ton loads for mint ones.
