Wow!!! This is just glorious, the hide is stunning. Has to be amongst the most practical looking of all shearlings, too.

No leather today here either. Just my Freenote RJ-1. Stopped by Cavenders (local western outfitters chain) this evening to grab a birthday gift for my brother. I spotted three Open Roads out on display (Silver Belly, Mixed Brown, and Black). Long story short, I am a weak man...

I grabbed the Mixed Brown and asked the wife to throw it under the tree for Christmas.
