just searched the forum here for the incident you have mentioned :)
my SWMBO showed a reaction I did not expect when I casually mentioned that I had ordered something in China for a rather lowly sum... "a Jacket? for how much? only 180 euros? can't be a Buzz or Eastman then. Well, if you really need another jacket, so be it then. if they come as cheap as this one, I can live with it. it's your money anyhow"
left me a bit puzzled and I thought whichever Aliens abducted my original missus and had replaced her with this new version of the missus had done a great job! and if these aliens wear flight jackets themselves for their interstellar travels, they will be up for some great discussions with the original missus...

...mind you, you can always come and sleep on my couch if worst comes to the worst. We can watch football and my missus doesn't mind that, plus it's cold so you can put some mileage into all those jackets you have :)

Update about my ubducted significant other: it now seems that a veritable can of worms has been opened up by me ordering from Bronson...she has checked their website and said to me that they seem to have some nice stuff at a fraction of the price she has come to know from ELC, BR and the likes and has asked me why I have not bought from them earlier INSTEAD of my shopping shenanigans with afore mentioned labels... interesting times ahead for me it seems....

that has happened already... the "new" significant other seems to still have the same fondness and preferences for this expensive handbag stuff like the old one...seems that just got copied and pasted into the new one; in fact she told me that right after Christmas, she has made an appointment at one of these rather well known French labels for reviewing some possible candidates for a new handbag... knowing how much they usually cost I feel rather cheap now ordering a Bronson... at least they offer decent champagne there for the lot of poor souls that we waiting men usually are.... tbc
