Thanks, Smithy, just received pix from a P-3C buddy of mine way north in your country right now. The aurora borealis are... immensely impressive.

There's just enormous amounts of P-3 activity here at the moment to protect the oil and gas installations from Russian sabotage. I have never seen so much.

That’s beautiful. The cat freaked me out a little though. Our cat savaged a pair of my Oxford shoes and ever since then, I keep jackets far away from him. He’s a bit of a dopey hippy cat so he may have something against leather/real fur. No offence to human hippies.

It may not be custom tailored, but that relaxed WWII fit looks absolutely fantastic on you. One of my favorite jackets and fits on VLJ right there.

Have to agree. I reckon that looks far better and also far for practical to wear than the uber-trim fits that you see. Not always but more often than not if you look at photos of originals you'll also see that they weren't sausage-skin tight either. If you had to wear the thing in combat and move in it, you didn't want a skin tight fit.
