What's the weather like today?Chicagoland.
Unseasonally balmy -- after a weekend in the twenties (F). 46°F, right now -- shearling would be even more oppressive! What's the weather like today?
Here it hasn't gone over 10c, cold wet and windy, tomorrow though 6 degrees warmer, thing is with Madrid normally you get reasonably warmer afternoons but cold morningsUnseasonally balmy -- after a weekend in the twenties (F). 46°F, right now -- shearling would be even more oppressive!
Considering we had a long hot summer with highs of 46c I'm fine with that, it does get colder though, one Christmas about 5 years ago I was sat on the patio Christmas day having a beer in a t-shirt, so very changeable hahaI'd be just fine with 50°F (10°C) for the rest of winter... but that never happens here. Circle back come January. Heck -- it could change next week!
An experience I can honestly say I've never enjoyed....sat on the patio Christmas day having a beer in a t-shirt, so very changeable haha
I posted a pic at the time on Facebook for family back home in Ireland and UK and they were like what the hell haha, well Christmas day is my birthday afterallAn experience I can honestly say I've never enjoyed.
Too sunny for a shearling Burt! Finally got a chance to bring out some shearling. Here’s a Willis & Geiger M-444 repro, by Willis & Geiger. View attachment 86575
I don’t get it. I can comfortably wear shearling as high as 55F (unzipped of course). What’s wrong with me?Unseasonally balmy -- after a weekend in the twenties (F). 46°F, right now -- shearling would be even more oppressive!
Haha you wouldn't in Madrid today Nick, weather gone nuts again, today 64f mmI don’t get it. I can comfortably wear shearling as high as 55F (unzipped of course). What’s wrong with me?
I did once find myself wearing a B-3 in the 80Fs. That was misery.
Well, even on the coldest days around here, heavy sheepskin always seemed like overkill (to me). Maybe I was just so accustomed to the cold? I've always wanted a B-6 because it's thinner than the B-3, but I could never justify another sheepskin... unless I can sell the Avirex B-3.I don’t get it. Man -- an average of 43° would be heaven for me!Hey Google. What is the coldest month in Madrid?
January
Winters in Madrid are cold and dry, and snow does fall now and then, especially in late December and in January. However, Madrid isn't known to be a particularly snowy city. January is the coldest month of the year, when average temperatures can be as low as 6ºC (43ºF) on average.
Very nice CyrilI am gonna give this one a chance today.
