The lighting exaggerates the difference a bit, and it’s still your basic russet, but I would say it has a lot more depth of color now, whereas before it was pretty matte.

That is a huge improvement in my opinion. looks a lot like my ELC with the .50 cal treatment.

Dark brown Saphir shoe polish, as I recall. Most of it came off, but it added dimension.

Night and day man, night and day. Looks like a real character jacket now.

Good job, it gives it a lot more character especially as it wears. You might want to avoid very light upholstery in warm weather.

Thanks Jan. I almost didn’t post it. I’m ashamed at the amount of GWs I’ve acquired this past year.
Time to wear the piss out of them it seems.

John did a great job with the collar on this one. I think I’m now equipped to do a comparative write-up on his 3 horsehide options. To do that soon.
